Welcome to GSM!
The Superconductivity and Magnetism Group (GSM) was established in 1991 and has since been dedicated to cutting-edge research in superconductivity and magnetism. GSM has a long-standing commitment to training qualified personnel. Notably, the first master's and doctoral degrees defended at UFSCar Physics Graduate Program were completed within the group. In addition to its state-of-art laboratory facilities, GSM maintains strong collaborations with several national and international research groups.
If you are interested in exploring various aspects of Condensed Matter Physics - whether at the undergraduate level (Scientific Initiation [Iniciação Científica] or Senior Undergraduate Thesis [Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso, TCC]) or the graduate level (master's or doctorate) - we invite you to get in touch with one of the professors about joining the lab or establishing a collaboration.
